Naomi R. Gonzalez
Naomi R. Gonzalez was born and raised in South Central El Paso. Ms. Gonzalez is a proud graduate of Jefferson High School. Ms. Gonzalez left El Paso for her college education, graduating with honors from Our Lady of the Lake University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. In 2003, Ms. Gonzalez received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Marys University. At law school, she served as a staff writer on The Scholar, a law review discussing minority issues and concerns. Ms. Gonzalez was a founding member and Vice-President of the Employment and Labor Law Association. In 2004, she returned to El Paso to practice law. Ms. Gonzalez is licensed to practice law in Texas, New Mexico and in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Ms. Gonzalez is a former Assistant County Attorney where she practiced in the Domestic Violence and Civil Litigation Units.
The El Paso Times featured Ms. Gonzalez in a column titled, 52 Under 40, where she was recognized for her community service efforts. She is the Immediate Past President of the Mexican American Bar Association of El Paso and was Secretary of the Mexican American Bar Association of Texas. In 2010, Naomi was elected to the office of Texas State Representative for House District 76 and she took office in 2011.
Naomi joined the Firm as Of Counsel in May 2010 where she focuses her practice on litigation matters, including employment and general civil litigation.
