The Firms Tax Litigation practice provides legal representation to individual and business clients involved in civil and criminal tax controversies regarding federal income tax matters. Our Tax Litigation practice concentrates on representing taxpayers in federal and state courts, the United States Tax Court and before the Internal Revenue Service Examination and Appeals Divisions.
Rene Ordoņez, head of the Firms Business, Commercial & Construction Litigation group, also represents clients in matters pending before the United States Tax Court. As a former Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Ordonez enjoys a unique level of experience for handling complex white collar cases in Federal Court.
Jessica P. Gomez is a trial attorney and chair of the Tax Litigation Practice group at the Firm, and is a Certified Public Accountant with expertise in the areas of accounting, tax, and audit.
